Redundancy Switching

Most Peak products are available with either in-built redundancy (see product datasheet), or separate redundancy switching &/or control units as covered in this section. Peak also provide redundancy switching for 3rd party products, including Modems, frequency converters, BUC’s, BDC’s, LNB’s & LNA’s.

Redundancy schemes from 1+1 to 8+1 are available and are grouped into the following categories;

• Rack mount without control; the most cost effective versions available, for use with products containing in-built redundancy control.
• Rack mount; the most basic switching & control versions available, supplied with manual key switching for local user controls.
• Rack mount with a full user interface; for applications requiring unit settings to be automatically passed to standby units on switch-over.
• Remote mount without control; the most cost effective versions available, for use with products containing in-built redundancy control.
• Remote mount; outdoor weatherproof designs with full remote control.
